The NC-527 is a compact, high performance Pentium class Half-ISA card. A notable feature of the series is the operational temperature range and low power requirements of the card. Although the NC-527 is designed to plug into an ISAbus backplane, it is not necessary to do so. There are enough onboard resources that in many applications the NC-527 may be the only module required. Flash disks are supported through the IDE interface as well as a DiskOnChip socket providing the possibility an all solid state, bootable PC system.
