The TSYST PC/104 module provides a range of commonly used
support facilities for PC/104 systems. It provides floppy disk and IDE disk
support, two serial ports and a printer port.
Hard Disk Drive
A 3½" IDE hard disk interface is provided. The IDE circuitry
can be enabled or disabled using link options. Mounting holes for 2½"
disk drives are provided on the TSYST.
Floppy
A floppy disk drive interface for 720kb, 1.2M and 1.44M drives
is provided. The floppy disk interface circuitry can be enabled or
disabled by jumpers.
Parallel I/O
A parallel interface is provided for use with a Centronics printer
or as a general purpose I/O port. This port can be disabled or configured
as LPTI, LPT2 or LPT3.
Serial I/O
Two PC compatible serial ports are provided. As standard the ports are configured
for RS232 operation. Both serial ports can be individually configured for
RS485 operation with the TS485-KIT.
The serial ports are normally configured as COM3 and COM4. COM3 can interrupt
on IRQ4 and COM4 can interrupt on IRQ3 as on a desktop PC. Optionally these
serial ports can be configured as COM1 and COM2 or disabled.

Single rail 5V supply required.

0 to 70ºC operating temperature range.
-40 to +100ºC storage temperature range.

Note: The TSYST is not PC/104-compliant due to the floppy
disk connector overhang. By replacing this right-angled connector with a
straight type, users can gain PC/104-compliancy. |
